You’re looking at the beginning of an adventure. I recently leased the space in the old Gatehouse building in West Concord with plans to open up the best dessert café around. What’s that mean? Well, for starters, it means that I plan to make amazing ice cream in the space pictured above. Looks a little empty now, huh?
On this blog, I will show you how we intend to make this space into a favored destination. You’ll read tales about my interactions with equipment vendors, contractors, and suppliers, and you’ll get to see the place take shape as we build it out and bring in equipment—machines that will help us make our great coffee, pastries, crepes and the ice cream. You might even see us trying some recipes while we perfect our approach.
All in all, I hope to give you a feel of what it takes to open a business like this in Concord.
